We are very happy with another beautiful design brand. This time we bought the most beautiful candles from Paju Design in Belgium. Paju was founded by Chloé and Christophe who had long dreamed of owning their own company. When they discovered that there was still unexplored territory in the design world through their move to a bigger house, they took the plunge.
They mainly focus on outdoor spaces, the somewhat neglected area in the interior world, and have produced a beautiful collection of robust design candles. In the meantime they have also added the most wonderful smelling scented candles for indoor use to the collection, (it’s a pity you can’t smell them via the internet but I can tell you that everyone who visits haus am zee doesn’t leave without taking one of these candles with them).
The candles are made from sustainable materials such as recycled concrete and ceramics and the candle itself from recycled black paraffin. The production is also sustainable and takes place in a social workshop in Belgium and therefore fits completely with the sustainable vision of haus am zee.
